Occupational Safety Specialist and/or HSE Manager (m/f/d)
As an occupational safety specialist (m/f/d), you will be responsible for advising the company on all matters relating to occupational safety. You will analyse hazards, develop appropriate protective measures and oversee their implementation. Your goal is to create a safe and healthy working environment and to continuously improve it.
Area of responsibility:
- Conducting risk assessments
- Creating operating instructions and supporting training materials
- Advising employees and management on occupational safety
- Implementing legal and internal occupational safety requirements
- Conducting and moderating occupational safety committee (ASA) meetings and training safety officers
- Supporting occupational health management
- Regional construction site support, including checking safety standards during regular site visits
- Dealing and liaising with the relevant occupational health and safety and environmental protection authorities and professional associations
- Advising and supporting external company management, various work permit procedures, integration and continuous improvement of occupational health and safety and environmental protection
- Creating and updating an HSE concept for the entire project
Basic qualifications:
- Occupational safety specialist in accordance with §6 ASiG (German Occupational Safety Act) and willingness to undertake further training
- Practical experience in the field of occupational safety
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- Analytical thinking skills, willingness to learn
- Ability to deal with conflict and a committed manner when dealing with management and employees
- Good communication skills and assertiveness
